Happy New Year! And happy new blog to me. 🙂
For a good long while, I’ve been keeping recipes I’ve tweaked and want to be able to recreate in post-it notes, Google Docs, the occasional Medium post. It’s all been working out …Â fine, but each one falls short in different ways of my ideal platform.
My efforts to convince my husband to quit his job and write a food-blogging app (“like Medium, but for recipes!”) fell short; he is still gainfully employed.
So I finally bit the bullet and am setting up my own food blog. And now that I’m doing it, I sort of can’t believe I didn’t do this earlier.  Obviously what I want is a custom WordPress install. Expect to see ongoing tweaks to the CSS, theme, and logo for a bit to come.
But, now that we’re here, let’s begin with something festive: PUNCH!
I’ve been experimenting with punch recipes for my big parties ever since I got a punch bowl.
N.B. No toddlers were harmed in the making of this punch.

- A few dashes aromatic bitters
